About Paddle Forward Pickleball
The Heart of
Paddle Forward
Our Leadership Team
Nancy Beach - Chair, Treasurer
After a successful business career, both as an owner and in leadership positions, Nancy felt a strong pull to give back, particularly to children and youth. Her commitment to philanthropy runs deep, with volunteer work spanning the U.S. and beyond: from hurricane relief in the South, to leading programs for homeless girls, to working with children in Guatemala and Seattle. Nancy's heart for children reaches around the globe.
Paddle Forward is her latest expression of that calling, a vehicle for inspiring young people through encouragement, mentorship, and sport.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Nancy and her husband Mark have had a home on Maui for over twenty years and are currently developing Aloha Pickleball in Kihei.
Kim grew up on the sunny beaches of Southern California, where outdoor play shaped her love of sport, community, and lifelong passions.
Her curiosity about the world led to a position as an international travel director, taking her to almost 70 countries before making Maui her permanent home 40-plus years ago. Since then, she has balanced raising two sons with a career helping Fortune 500 companies bring their top-performing teams to Hawaii, coordinating the logistics that create seamless, unforgettable experiences.
Having served on multiple boards advocating for Maui's youth, Kim is passionate about sharing the joy of pickleball and creating opportunities for young people to grow through sport and community.

Pickleball is a gift that brings joy to life, a sport that can be played a lifetime.
Our Mission
To inspire and empower youth through pickleball by providing accessible instruction, equipment, inclusive programs, and safe spaces to play.
We focus on serving youth through after-school programs, seasonal camps, and year-round opportunities that promote physical activity, teamwork, confidence, and life-long healthy habits.
We founded Paddle Forward Pickleball because we love how the game naturally combines mentorship, teamwork, and fun—helping kids grow both on and off the court.
When used intentionally, pickleball can support social, emotional, and academic development just as much as physical activity. Studies show it improves quality
